Marshall Eklund Pilates Coaching Program

Become a confidant and in-demand Pilates trainer.  You will learn tricks of the trade, practice with the pros and gain immeasurable insight.  This program also provides a structured approach to the Observation, Practice and Practice Teaching requirements of all courses.

This amazing program is a highly recommended addition to any of the STOTT PILATES® courses.  It is also a prerequisite for the Marshall Eklund Pilates and Fitness Intern Program.

Coaching programs are limited to six students.  It is necessary to have three or more students in the course sign up for the coaching program in order to have a Study Team.  The Program consists of a series of 8 structured 3-hour segments, a total of 24 hours.  Each coaching segment will be different.  Depending on progress of students, team dynamics, strengths and weaknesses the program will be modified on a daily basis.  You can expect each coaching session to include:

  • Observation of Studio Staff training clients
  • Using your observation to practice teaching with your Study Team
  • Coaching with one of the studio staff trainers working with your Study Team.  Your course teaches you the “tangibles” (the exercises, anatomy, etc.), coaching adds the “intangibles” (the subtleties of how to train).  It is an incredible opportunity to hone your training skills. This is your opportunity, in a small group setting, to get additional advice and feedback on your teaching and cuing techniques, practice teaching the trainer, ask questions, go more in-depth on areas where you want more information, etc.
  • You may spend additional personal time with other members of your Study Team to deepen the learning experience.
  • There will be homework every day

The fee for the Coaching Program is $295.
