Our Semi-Private classes are small, usually with 2-4 clients and a highly trained instructor. This ensures that our clients are receiving a safe and productive workout with personal feedback and exercise correction. These sessions are perhaps the most effective Pilates group classes in San Diego.Marshall Eklund PILATES Studio has a unique approach to Semi-Private training. All Semi-Private sessions are designed for healthy individuals who would like to strengthen their bodies and improve flexibility, especially the abdominals, back, lower body and shoulder girdle. It has taken us numerous years to develop the incredible Semi-Private program. Our focus is on impeccable training that is safe and effective. Semi-Private Sessions utilize Matwork, the Reformer and Cadillac, as well as light equipment such as the BOSU® ball and Combo Chair.
Semi-Privates are divided into levels to allow each client to be in a group compatible with their evolving fitness level. Our Semi-privates often rotate trainers so that you may experience all that our phenomenal staff has to offer. We ask that Semi-private clients commit to two sessions per week. This helps maintain the highest quality of training for all participants.
PERFORMANCE SEMI-PRIVATE: Our most popular Pilates Semi-Private Session. Designed for the intermediate student. Based on Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES exercises utilizing Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and small equipment. May be booked after completing group of private or “Principles Semi-Private” sessions.
PROS SEMI-PRIVATE: A fast paced STOTT PILATES session, highlighted with Intermediate and Advanced exercises. Designed for the intermediate and advanced students utilizing Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and small equipment. May be booked after completing group of private or “Principles Semi-Private” sessions.
HEALTHY BACK SEMI-PRIVATE: We all have heard it! Pilates is perfect for developing a strong healthy back. This special semi-private class is designed to encourage proper mechanics of the entire spine and especially the lumbar region. Clients who are experiencing pain or have little fitness experience will be required to take some HEALTHY BACK PRIVATE sessions before joining the semi-private group. May be booked after INTRO and group of private sessions.
FITCAMP: This new semi-private offering has the intensity of Boot Camp with the intelligence of Pilates. This is a fast-paced training program based on Pilates, incorporating interval trainings for functional fitness, balance, athletic conditioning, aerobic and anaerobic training. This workout is designed for those with a base level of fitness.
LIFT: A brand-new training program designed by Marshall Eklund. LIFT is a semi-private offering designed to improve muscular strength, muscular endurance and power and muscle tone. LIFT utilizes reps, sets and loads to train the large powerful muscles. LIFT is the perfect complement to your current pilates program.
